This Privacy Policy explains how Write Right Stylus LLC ("TaxSphere," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use TaxSphere (the "Service") and our website. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
The Short Version
TaxSphere is built to map how your tax data moves — not to hold the data itself. We do not collect, receive, or process your financial data, trial balances, client or taxpayer information, or the contents of your workpapers. The information we handle is limited to what's needed to run your account and the process maps you create.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored in encrypted form). If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor collects your payment details — see "Payments" below.
Process content. The blueprints you build — the labels, connections, notes, and dropdown answers describing how your process runs. This is descriptive process information (for example, "SAP," "exported to Excel," "updated quarterly"), not financial figures.
Usage information. Basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, and how you interact with the Service, collected to keep it secure and working.
Communications. If you contact us, we keep the information you provide so we can respond.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as data about health, race, religion, or similar categories), and you should not enter it into the Service.
How We Use Information
We use the information above to: provide and maintain the Service; create and manage your account; process payments and subscriptions; respond to your requests; send administrative messages about your account; improve and secure the Service; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some may affect how the Service works. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but our limited-collection design means we simply do not hold the sensitive financial data that would otherwise be at risk.

We keep account and process information for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as needed to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your Rights").
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; and receive a copy of your information. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information.
